The Metal Element – From Modern to Traditional

Metal Accessories by La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Arizona

Metalwork and iron furniture has made an interesting journey through the years. Wrought iron furniture often reminds me of Victorian elegance that brings an aura of old world charm to any home. Ornate floral and leaf designs add beauty and sophistication to a room. On the opposite end of the design spectrum, metals are now the new darling of contemporary styling combining steel and glass for a clean polished look urbanites love.

Long recognized for its outdoor durability, iron has now moved indoors. Iron details work well on occasional tables or consoles, dressing up an informal room by adding elegance and interest.  Hanging wall sconces, unique candlesticks, and unusual iron accessories are a beautiful addition to any style.

  1. This headline got my attention “decorating with metal” I was expecting to see some Iron Maiden posters or Metallica. But when I arrived I got an even nicer surprise. Good job keep up the excellent work.

    • Our designers design to our client’s wants and needs. If you want us to design you a room on 80’s Retro Heavy Metal, I’m sure we could figure out a way to make that happen. Thank you for reading!
