Q: I love accessories and enjoy changing things often. However, a friend told me that my tables and fireplace always seem to look cluttered. Could I be over-accessorizing?

A: Yes, your friend might be correct. Decide what the focal point of the room is and dress it up. If it starts to look a little messy, try taking something away. Remember, negative space is needed in every room. Ultimately, place accessories so that you are comfortable.
